Standing camp at Downe 

Where boys and girls  between the age of 6 and 18 learn basic camping skills such as tent pitching, fire lighting and axemanship to be used  elsewhere such as other campsites both in this country and abroad.

Hill walking in the Welsh mountains 

Basic skills learned in meeting rooms are given the opportunity to be put into practice. 

More training  in the real thing in  preparation for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition's

High adventure white water rafting.

Opportunities to take part in and learn a wide variety of  skills in  adventurous activities are always on offer for both young people to enable them to take part and adults to lead..
